Leave & Sick pay


Employees start on 24 days holiday per year PLUS bank holidays. Rising to 25 after a year’s service and 26 after 2 years of service.

Family Leave

We believe family is important. To support you, we offer enhanced maternity and paternity pay, paid time to attend antenatal appointments, up to 5 days of fertility leave for those undergoing IVF, and an extra day’s holiday when your little one attends primary school for the first time.

Bereavement Leave

We offer 5 days of paid leave in the event of the death of a first-line family member. Parental bereavement including pregnancy loss is enhanced from statutory to full pay.

Sick Pay

No one wants to be ill but sometimes it just can’t be helped. That’s why we offer company sick pay for employees who have passed their probationary period.

The cost of an annual travel pass or parking permit can be expensive, that’s why we offer interest-free loans to our employees so they can spread the cost over 10 months.

Life Cover

Dealing with the loss of a family member is extremely difficult, the last thing anyone needs is to have to worry about finances. If you’re in the company pension scheme we provide your loved one(s) with a lump sum equivalent to 6 times your basic salary.


Planning for the future is important, that’s why we offer an excellent defined contribution pension scheme with employee contributions matched up to 8%. After 5 years’ service, we increase this further by contributing 1.5% for every 1% you put in (up to a maximum of 12% company contributions)

Loyalty Awards

As a thank you to our loyal workforce we make a ‘thank you payment’ at 5 years’ service and at every 5-year interval after that.
